If you are contacted by the Canada Revenue Agency in any manner, phone, fax, email, text, social networking and you did not expect to be, or if they ask you for money, SIN numbers, or other personal information, ask the person to make a note on your file. You can then call the Canada Revenue Agency at the general enquiry number to verify that they were in fact trying to contact you.
